The budget prioritizes education (Shs 24 billion), health (Shs 4.7 billion), and management services (Shs 5.6 billion).

Other key allocations include roads and engineering (Shs 3 billion), natural resource management (Shs 1.1 billion), trade and economic development (Shs 286 million), and finance and accounting (Shs 1.1 billion).

Additional funding goes to statutory bodies (Shs 1 billion), production (Shs 339 million), community-based services (Shs 269 million), planning (Shs 261 million), and internal audit (Shs 91 million).

Taremwa called on the public to cooperate with city council officials and technocrats to ensure the budget is effectively implemented to enhance service delivery in the city.
