The Obusinga Bwa Rwenzururu has announced plans to publish a calendar highlighting key events to be celebrated annually within the Kingdom.
According to Baraka Kanyonyi, the Minister for Information, Mobilization and Kingdom Spokesperson, the calendar is still being organized and will help create awareness while encouraging subjects to research and understand the significance of the marked dates.
He says the calendar will include events such as the coronation anniversary and Omusinga Charles Wesley Mumbere Irema-Ngoma’s birthday, among others.
Kanyonyi also revealed that the Omusinga will next week meet Rwenzururu subjects in Kampala, during an engagement scheduled to take place at Makerere University.
