The management of Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital has received a consignment of maternal medical equipment from Stanbic Bank Uganda, as part of the bank’s corporate social responsibility initiative to support community health services.
The donation includes a sterilizing machine, hospital beds, mattresses, and mama kits aimed at improving maternal healthcare and ensuring safe deliveries for mothers.
While handing over the equipment, Gerald Tukamuheeba, the Assistant Resident City Commissioner for Mbarara City South, commended Stanbic Bank for its continued commitment to improving health services across the country. He noted that such contributions play a vital role in enhancing service delivery and supporting government efforts to promote quality healthcare.
Hospital officials expressed deep appreciation to Stanbic Bank for the generous gesture, saying the equipment will go a long way in improving maternal services and ensuring timely, safe, and quality care for patients.
