Police in Kampala have arrested 10 suspects found smoking suspected narcotics in Buwate, Najjera, Kira Municipality.
Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson Recheal Kawala says the operation targeted criminal gangs operating in the city.
Suspected narcotic exhibits were recovered, and police say the suspects allegedly use drugs before committing crimes such as waylaying pedestrians and stoning vehicles.
The suspects are in custody awaiting court proceedings.
