Police in the Kigezi Region have received a troop carrier vehicle to strengthen operations and improve service delivery.
The blue Toyota Isuzu troop carrier lorry, registration number UP 00287, was officially received on Wednesday at the regional headquarters in Kabale by the Regional Police Commander, senior officers, and staff.
Kigezi Regional Police Commander SSP Wabwire Alex thanked Inspector General of Police Abbas Byakagaba and his team for allocating the vehicle to the region.
Kigezi Region Police spokesperson SP Elly Maate said the troop carrier will help improve mobility and facilitate policing operations across the region.
