Ibanda Resident District Commissioner (RDC), Godfrey Mbetegyereize, has launched parish barazas to enhance security, service delivery, and socio-economic mobilization.

The initiative, themed “Teamwork for Effective Service Delivery, Security, and Mass Sensitization for Development,” runs from January 20 to February 29, 2025.

Speaking to Crooze FM, RDC Mbetegyereize said that during previous meetings, unique socio-economic and political issues were identified. The parish barazas aim to address these concerns using a bottom-up approach.

Residents are encouraged to attend and participate actively in shaping their communities. The sessions aim to foster collaboration between local government, security agencies, and the public for sustainable development.
