Mbarara city leaders have officially launched the construction of the 6-kilometer Ekitobeero-Kashanyarazi-Karugangama circular road, a project set to cost Shs 11.8 million.
During the launch, Mbarara City Mayor Robert Mugabe Kakyebezi encouraged residents to take advantage of the new road to foster development in their area.
Meanwhile, Mbarara City South RCC Robert Kanusu urged the community to use the improved infrastructure as an opportunity to initiate income-generating activities.
The project will involve grading and leveling, ensuring smoother access and improved connectivity for the city’s residents.
