Now, I’m not one for the spotlight or fame. I believe in letting my work speak for itself – creating moments on-air that make people feel something. That’s what drives me every single time I step into the studio.

So, why Da Problem Child? Was I a rebel growing up? Ehehehe, not quite! When I started out in radio, I went by my real name, Steve. But when I made my grand return, I was handed the responsibility of hosting The Most Wanted Xtra. And, let’s face it, “Steve” didn’t exactly scream radio energy. The name Problem Child had already started making waves on The Evening Switch, thanks to the crazy vibes we brought to the show. I was a ‘problem on air,’ in the best possible way. So, Da Problem Child it was!

When I’m not raising hell on-air, I’m pretty chill – cool, calm, and lately, a little more collected. What I love most about radio is the freedom it gives me to be myself and the amazing family I get to meet on the airwaves every day. It’s a job that keeps you on your toes, constantly learning, unlearning, and growing. The daily challenges? They’re the fuel that keeps me going!
