Women told to respect their husbands as Uganda marks international women’s day
As Uganda and the world marks the international women’s day, women are being challenged to respect their husbands.
This day is celebrated on every 8th of March annually and this year’s celebration is being held at Rwimi primary school playgrounds in Bunyangabu district under the theme, “Think equal, build smart, and innovate for change”, where President Museveni is the chief guest.
Jolly Kagira, the Biharwe division councilor and Secretary for health Mbarara municipality says that women should not misuse this day, by doing what their husbands don’t like, which can eventually breed family conflicts.
Kagira adds that women should endeavor to cooperate with their husbands, blaming those whose bank accounts are hidden from their husbands.
