Ugandan Traders who lost goods in South Sudan to hold a demonstration.
Ugandan Traders who lost goods and money in South Sudan in partnership with Kampala City Traders Association (KACITA) are set to organize a peaceful demonstration over non-payment of money for supplies and contracts performed in South Sudan.
KACITA Spokesperson Issa Sekitto says that several understandings have been reached between the two states to have payments but all in vain.
Sekitto adds that Shs76 billion was allocated for this financial year to pay some of the traders but nothing has been paid.
This was revealed on Wed Jan 23,2020 while addressing a news conference,together with the affected traders in Kampala.
