Truck Drivers Cautioned Against Parking in Wrong Places in Mbarara City

Ugandan and foreign truck drivers have been cautioned against parking in wrong places amid the fight against coronavirus which has caused public outcry in Mbarara city.

Mbarara Resident District Commissioner (RDC) Lt Col. James Mwesigye has vowed to arrest such drivers especially those using Mbarara-Mirama, Mpondwe routes who park in Ruti instead of parking at Karama playground that was gazetted for them.

Lt. Col. Mwesigye confirms that the task force including police have received public outcry and they have responded by starting operations against this truck parking.

Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital has so far received at least 38 coronavirus cases and 29 have been discharged free of Covid19.
