Three Cholera cases confirmed in Bududa
Ministry of Health has officially declared a Cholera outbreak in Bududa after confirming that three suspected cases have been identified, with no confirmed death.
The three suspected cases reported so far have originated from a community that has already been devastated by landslides.
The confirmation echoes an earlier report by the Red Cross Society which first raised an alarm on the outbreak of Cholera in last month.
However, the health ministry says none of the people close to the victim appeared to have been infected by the disease.
The ministry has also stated that the three suspected Cholera patients have been admitted at an isolation ward, Bukigai Health Centre II.
