The Bar Owner where Late Singer Mowzey Radio met his killer testifies.
Hearing of the murder case in which Godfrey Wamala aka Troy is accused of being behind late Singer Mowzey Radio’s death, yesterday Tuesday, September 10,2019 resumed before the High court sitting in Entebbe, with the 9th Prosecution Witness.
George Egesa a resident of Kawuku and the owner of Debar a hangout in Entebbe where Mowzey met his alleged killer has told court that on 22nd January 2018 a one Pamela Musimire came to his bar and informed him of a ‘Celeb’ by names mowzey Radio, that was coming to his bar.
That later Radio came in with Washington (David Ebanget Etoru) and some other friend.
Mowzey Radio then got 100,000shs, placed it on the table and asked Egesa the bar owner to buy him booze, but Egesa told him he didn’t have money although he still went ahead and ordered for him whisky on his(Egesa) bill.
Then Mowzey Radio poured some Whisky in glasses and the remaining one, on him Egesa, and some other guys including Troy the accused in this case.
Egesa testified that he then told Pamela to take out Mowzey Radio, while he went to the washroom to clean himself, and on returning is when the waitress informed him of the chaos that had taken place in his absence.
Egesa told presiding Judge Jane Frances Abodo that he never saw Troy beat up Mowzey Radio.
Justice Abodo has now adjourned the further hearing of this case to 24th September.
Prosecution’s Joan keko says they are bringing more witnesses on that date.
