Supreme court Judge asks Prosecutors to priotise cases involving children
Supreme Court Judge, Richard Buteera calls on Prosecution to dispose of cases involving children expeditiously so that perpetrators of crimes against them are purnished.
Justice Buteera says where juveniles unfortunatelt find themselves in our Court System they should be given priority in the disposal of cases.
The Judge encourged Prosecutors to be child friendly in administering justice to them, not in the sense of setting them free, but holding them accountable for their actions, in a rather fair and friendly manner that will help them become better people without turning them into hardened criminals.
This as he was officially opening the Heads of Proscution Agencies Conference in Munyonyo-Kampala.
