Stolen cow recovered by police in Mbarara

Police in Mbarara yesterday recovered a cow in an 8-ft deep manhole after getting information from concerned residents of Ruti, Nyamitanga division in Mbarara City.

The cow is suspected to have been abandoned by an unknown persons who police suspects to have been cattle thieves coming from areas of Kashari.

The cow is currently being kept at Mbarara Central Police Station as police awaits anyone who may have information of its owner.
