Some Kiruhura NRM registrars on the run after district returning officer’s arrest
Some Kiruhura district National Resistance Movement-NRM registrars especially those form Nyabushozi are reportedly on the run following the arrest of district returning officer, Agom David Andinda on orders of President Yoweri Tibuhaburwa Kaguta Museveni and some are suspected to be hiding in Mbarara.
Agom was on Sunday 11,2020 picked from his home in Akatongore Kenshunga sub county Nyabushozi county by detectives follows fraudulent parliamentary elections in Nyabushozi, which are still being contested with 84 villages set to vote to decide the winner between RTD Col. Fred Mwesigye and Wilson Kajwengye.
Meanwhile, Amb. Wilson Kajwengye says he’s fully prepared to participate in tomorrow’s (October 14,2020) fresh NRM primaries in 84 villages of Nyabushozi county Kiruhura district despite incumbent MP, Hon. Fred Mwesigye boycotting the exercise.
