Six arrested over slain prosecutor Kagezi
Six people have been arrested in Kyengera, Wakiso district in connection with the killing of senior principal state attorney Joan Kagezi.
Kagezi was on March 30, shot dead in Kiwatule while buying fruits from a vendor in what police said was a planned assassination.
Inspector General of Police Gen Kale Kayihura, while addressing journalists on Tuesday said police has for some time been monitoring the movements of the six suspects. They had reportedly moved from Kiwatule to Kyengera shortly after Kagezi was shot dead.
According to Kayihura, the six who include two women and four men are being held for interrogation.
