Radio and Weasel Nominated For 2015 Oscars
The sky is not the limit for the former Goodlyf boys after they were nominated in the 2015 Oscars. The dinamic duo of Radio and Weasel are lifting Uganda’s flag high after their songwas nominated in the Honesty Oscars, one of the prestigious Awards in the world.
The Oscars are an annual American awards ceremony honoring cinematic achievements in the film industry but with a category for Honesty Oscars, an award that honors notHollywood films but the creative work of activists and organizations that fight globalcorruption.
And in this year’s Honesty Oscars, Radio and Weasel’s corruption song has been nominated under the category of Best Activist Anthem as the best original song that has truly inspiredaudiences to learn about the fight against global corruption and join the movement too.
Other songs nominated in this category are Gbagba is corruption by Liberia’s Takunj, Putin will teach you how to love by Pussy Riot from Russia, What will I remain with by Kenya’s Juliani, Revolution by Latragram from Spain.
