Public cautioned against castigating government

The Chairperson Mbarara district, Capt John Bosco Bamuturaki Tumusiime has cautioned the public against castigating government instead of finding ways of benefiting from various government projects.
This was during the launch of the newly created Nyabisirira town council curved out from Kashare sub county in Kashari North which was attended by various leaders on Tuesday, with hope that urbanizing the rural areas will enhance economic, social and political development.
Capt Bamuturaki appealed to all people in the developing urban areas to have land titles to ensure lawful ownership which also adds value to their land as well as helping to prevent land encroachment.
Establishment of more town councils will create more employment opportunities and promotion of tourism among other forms of development.
Capt Bamuturaki advised the public to vote for political leaders wisely to ensure good political representation to lobby for strengthening unity and collaboration among the public for actual organised physical planning and development.
Mbarara district now has five town councils which include Bwizibwera-Rutooma, Rubindi-Ruhumba, Nyabisirira, Rwanyamahembe and Bukiro.
