Prudential Uganda donates to the Vulnerable in Mbarara District
Prudential Uganda has today handed over shs150 million cash plus 47 tonnes of posho and 12 tonnes of beans to Mbarara district COVID-19 task force led by RDC Lt. Col James Mwesigye as part of Prudential’s shs300 million national donation.
Part of the relief food was today distributed in the areas of Rwebikona and Omukashanyarazi Kamukuzi division and the rest left to be distributed by the task force jointly with Humanitarian Operations Projects and Emergencies (HOPE).
While speaking to Crooze fm, Prudential Insurance marketing and communication manager Nashiba Nalubega disclosed that they came up with this plan so that the most vulnerable, greatly affected by the lock down can be fed.
