Presidents Kagame and Museveni expected to discuss again.
President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and his Rwandan counterpart , Paul Kagame are today Sunday expected to discuss in Luanda, the Angolan capital in a 2nd attempt at talks to resolve a border dispute between Uganda and Rwanda.
To be assessed in Angola, is the August 2019 peace pact signed by the two in the same country and this is the 2nd time for the two meeting, since August last year.
Angola Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that President João Lourenço of Angola has invited the two for talks and they will be joined by Felix Tshisekedi of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) as it has been the overseer of the implementation of the Luanda Memorandum of Understanding.
Uganda’s permanent representative to the United Nations Ambassador Adonia Ayebare on Saturday morning tweeted – “In Angola to attend this important meeting”.
