President Museveni tests for COVID19
President Yoweri Museveni has revealed that he was compelled to take a test for COVID 19 after he lost his voice while addressing a meeting over the weekend after he had talked for many hours while wearing a mask.
The President said doctors took samples from him on Sunday and returned them confirming he was free of the virus.
Museveni made the revelation today while he was being nominated as the NRM’s presidential flag-bearer in the 2022 elections at the NRM offices in Kampala.
Speaking shortly after being nominated earlier on today, the president noted that priority for his Government now is the fight against the deadly corona virus, with saving lives being at the heart of the battle.
