Pope Francis urges for peace in 2019
Pope Francis has urged believers worldwide to work towards promoting peace in this New Year 2019.
Pope Francis’ message was yesterday read by his representative in Uganda, Alfred D’souza during the New Year’s mass at Rubaga cathedral in Kampala.
The pope mainly put emphasis on politicians who he called upon to promote fundamental human rights, peace and justice to everyone.
Meanwhile,at the same mass, the Arch Bishop of the Kampala Diocese Dr. Cyprian Kizito Lwanga challenged the deputy governor Bank of Uganda, Louis Kasekende who was present at this service on the rumors that he has irregularly assumed a lot of wealth as reported in the media, saying if found gulty, he should be brought to book.
