Nyabushozi MP Fred Mwesigye cautions political actors against violence hours to NRM primaries
With a few hours to tomorrow’s National Resistance Movement (NRM) MPs primaries, political actors and the entire public have been cautioned against participating in violence and divisive politics.
This follows violence in different parts of Uganda and identification of some potential hotspots including Sheema, Bushenyi, Kazo, Kashongi, Sembabule, Bundibugyo and Mbarara.
According to the incumbent Member of Parliament for Nyabushozi constituency in Kiruhura Col Fred Mwesigye, spreading head and sectarianism is dangerous so leaders should act as examples.
‘Leaders should preach love and peace. The people will do the same,’ he added.
