No blood shortage at Fort Portal Regional Bank

Fort Portal Regional Blood Bank director Archibald Bahizi, says the region has not suffered any blood shortage since the COVID19 outbreak in march.

Bahizi says the region has enough blood after they surpassed their annual target while collecting blood from donors.

Fort Portal Regional Blood Bank that is in charge of 13 districts in Ruwenzori and bunyoro regions has supplied blood to Mubende, Hoima, Nakasero and Gulu regional blood banks during COVID 19 pandemic.

Dr. Bahizi thanked donors in all the districts for donating blood amidst all the challenges caused by the COVID19 pandemic.
