Mbarara – Barclays to introduce intelligent ATM
With the existence of SMS alerts, electronic and internet banking, Barclays bank will soon introduce an intelligent automated teller machine as a means of increasing the accessibility of the institutions services to their clientele.
Speaking at a luncheon with clients at the Biharwe based Igongo Cultural center in Mbarara district on Monday, the Barclays bank managing director Rakesh Jha said the machine’s existence will provide services outside the bank’s working hours.
The intelligent automated teller machine will go along way in increasing the bank’s productivity to generate new revenue, provide a 24 – 7 banking convenience and a new experience for the customers.
Rakesh also reassured Barclays customers on the speculation of the bank’s closure in Africa.
