Mbarara Accident Kills Chinese National

Police in Mbarara are investigating after the death of a Chinese national who was knocked by a truck today morning, Wednesday August 12, 2020 and succumbed to injuries at Mbarara regional referral hospital.

Rwizi Regional Police Spokesman Samson Kasasira has said that at around 9am, Lee Limin,49, an employee of Chinese International Construction Company (CICCO).was instructing a truck registration number UBD 895 N being driven by one Kamari Hassan and the truck hit him.

The incident happened along Kamugungunu Road that is undergoing construction in Rwebikoona cell Kamukuzi division Mbarara City.

The truck driver after realizing that he had knocked the Chinese national took off and the body of the deceased has been taken to the mortuary for postmortem.
