Kitagwenda leaders push for new constituency

The Kitagwenda Member of Parliament (MP) Hon Agaba Abbas has written to chairperson LC5 Kitagwenda District who also doubles as the council speaker requesting him to call council meeting and pass a motion
supporting the creation of new Constituency.
Hon Agaba Abbas revealed that recently few MPs from Kitagwenda District / Kamwenge met President H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and shared at length about the creation of new constituency and he accepted the move before guiding them on how to handle the matter.
Now according to Hon Abbas, he was early this month further guided by the Minister for Local Government to first seek for council minute if the constituency is to be created.

Hon Agaba Abbas further added that very soon if all goes well another constituency will be created hence asks people in Kitagwenda District to avoid politicking.
