Kisoro court remands man who murdered his four family members
Gerald Ndikumukiza, the man who is accused of allegedly murdering his father, mother, wife and sister-in-law has been remanded by Kisoro Chief Magistrate’s Court to Kisoro prison until November 2, 2020 for further mention of the case.
On September 24, 2020, Ndikumkiza, while at Kageyo village in Nyarubuye Sub County, murdered his wife Maserina Mujawimana,26, his father Sebitama Deogratious, his mother Nyiraguhirwa Bonconsira and his sister-in-law Nyiramahoro Joan whom he hacked using a machete after a misunderstanding over family land before reporting himself to police yesterday.
Magistrate Rapheal Vueni today, September 29,2020 heard that since the case was capital in nature, the suspect could not take a plea and could only seek bail in a higher court.
