Kichwamba primary school teacher found dead

Police in Ibanda district is investigating circumstances surrounding the death of Twinomuhwezi Gastone,30,a teacher attached to Kichwamba Primary School in Nyakayojo division Mbarara city hailing from Nyamirima upper
cell in Bufunda division Ibanda municipality.

Gastone’s body was today morning discovered floating on Nyabukurungo river by residents near Nyabuhikye trading center in Ibanda after a family got information yesterday that a body was floating.

Reports indicate that he disappeared on September 2,2020 after
withdrawing unknown sum of money from his Centenary Bank account in Ibanda.

The body of the deceased was taken to Ruhoko HC 4 mortuary by Ibanda police for
postmortem as investigation continue.
