Kayihura compensates Kasese accident victim’s family
Inspector general of police Kale kaihura has given five million shillings to the family of a boda boda cyclist who was knocked dead by a speeding police car which was part of the IGP’s convoy in Kasese municipality.
The deceased was identified as Kule Joshua Kisundi, 23, a resident of Nyakakindo Kyarumba Sub County in Kasese district.
Speaking on behalf of the inspector general of police, SP. Namuwaza Denis the region police commander regretted the incident and pledged support to the family of the deceased. He asked the family to provide one person who will witness in court as the reckless driver is being charged.
The deceased is survived with one wife and four children.
