Kampala boda boda operators comply with SOPs, protest KCCA to bar them from accessing the city center
Some boda boda operators in Kampala have complied with the presidential directives and the Standards of Operation Procedures (SOPs) as they resumed carrying of passengers this morning.
A few operating along Access Road and the industrial area have been seen with note books, pens and bottles of sanitizers, in addition to wearing face masks and helmets.
They have, however, protested the move by Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) to bar them from accessing the city center.
Police are now deployed in specific areas of the city which boda boda operators are not allowed access.
