Kabale Municipality allocates 25 billion shillings under the second phase of infrastructure development.
Kabale Municipality has been allocated 25 billion shillings under the second phase of the Uganda support to municipal infrastructure development (USMID).
Denis Obbo the public relations officer of the ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Development revealed this during the stakeholders meeting at Kabale Municipality council hall for the evaluation of Kabale first phase of the project.
He said that Kabale was among the best municipalities that performed well as it’s to also benefit from the second phase of the project as it has been increased from 15 billion shillings to now 25 billion shillings
Emmanuel Sentaro Byamugisha the mayor Kabale Municipality says that as
Kabale municipality they are ready for phase II of the USMID project saying that even though they began the implementation of the first phase late by two years they managed to complete it in time.
