Kabale District Chairperson asks Police officers to be professional
Kabale District Chairperson Patrick Besigye Keihwa has asked police officers to be professional and lead by example if they are to accomplish their task in improving security in the country.
Keihwa made the call last evening while speaking as the guest of honour at a farewell party of Dickens Bindeba, the former Kabale District Police Commander who has been transferred to Bushenyi district on the same position.
The function was held at Manhattan hotel in Kabale municipality. He will be replaced by Godfrey Kahebwa, the Soroti District Police Commander.
Keihwa emphasized integrity, discipline, professionalism, and respect for diversity among police officers.
He commended Bindeba for the good working relationship with the Kabale district leadership and for being an exemplary commander to other security officers in Kigezi region.
