Ivory Coast’s Vice President steps down
Ivory Coast’s Vice President Daniel Kablan Duncan,77,has stepped down after the sudden death of Prime Minister Amadou Gon Coulibaly on July 8.
Kablan handed his resignation to the president,Alassane Ouattara on personal grounds on February 27 according to a statement read by chief of staff Patrick Achi.
He has been Vice-President of Ivory Coast since January 2017. He previously served as Prime Minister from 11 December 1993 to 24 December 1999 and again from November 2012 to January 2017.
