Ibanda RDC warns people to stop looking for Relief food from his office
The Resident District commissioner Ibanda, Eliasto Akatuhebwa has warned people who are looking for relief food to stop going to his office but to keep home, clarifying that the chairperson LC1s will handle them.
Following the increasing cases of domestic violence in families during this Covid-19 pandemic, RDC Akatuhebwa is also appealing to the general public to be tolerant as the country struggles to fight the diseases.
Speaking to CroozeFm, RDC Akatuhebwa said that his office is overwhelmed by domestic violence cases where wives accuse their husbands for not providing for their families.
RDC Akatuhebwa said couples should be understanding during this trying time, and cautioned them of taking the law into their hands and further advised women to stop beating men during this time of curfew and lockdown but instead respect them as their husbands.
