Ibanda Police To Continue Apprehending Those Flouting COVID19 Guidelines
Security authorities in Ibanda district have warned that police will continue to apprehend members of the public who stubbornly flout Covid-19 preventive measures.
The Ibanda district police commander Emilly Angomoku, says Police will arrest individuals who will be found moving during curfew time.
Angomoku’s warning follows last Friday’s incident where 40 people were rounded up from Texas bar while they were watching football past 11pm which is beyond curfew time.
She adds that those who were arrested have since been released on police bond, but will appear in court tomorrow, to answer charges of staging an act that is likely to spread an infectious disease.
