Ibanda muslim women and children barred from attending prayers
Sheik Sulaiman Muzamil Kasirye, the secretary for Dawa mosque says this has been done to minimize the numbers required to be in a mosque during prayers to avoid the possibility of transmitting Covid-19.
Sheik Sulaiman says this was the initial arrangement at the Ibanda main mosque and advises that other mosques with limited space can do the same.
Mosques reopened on Friday, September 25,2020 and churches reopen today under President Museven’s directive that no place of worship should have over 70 people attending prayers at once.
