I Could Not Believe It When They Called Me – MUBS Student Wins Big With MTN MoMoNyabo
With the closing of education institutions during the Covid19 lockdown, many students have been redundant for the more than the last five months.
Parents and their children have been struggling during the Covid19 Lockdown but Muzafaru Kedi Kyate and his mother are not going to be worried about suffering anymore.
Muzafaru, a Makerere University Business School MUBS Student is the most recent winner with the MTN MoMoNyabo Together Promotion as he won a whooping UGX 4,200,000 Shillings.
Muzafaru is studying a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce in year Two but he has been working as a mechanic at one garage in Jinja town where he has been getting money to take care of himself and his mother as well as the rest of the family during Covid19 Lockdown.
When Muzafaru received a call from MTN telling him that he had won the money, he could not believe it because the questions he was asked were so easy.
“Anyone else could think it is just a game, the questions were so easy but they insisted. I answered some right,” Muzafaru said with a smile.
Muzafaru said that even for the final question he knew the answer but he took it for a joke.
Since MTN MoMoNyabo Together is all about sharing, winners were given an opportunity to share the money they won and Muzafaru named her mother as a beneficiary without hesitation.
“I would love to share this money with my mother because she is like a sister to me and she has always struggled to take care of me,” Muzafaru said.
Muzafaru thanked MTN Uganda for bringing the MTN MoMoNyabo Together promotion and assured all MTN clients that the promotion is real.
MTN Uganda through its MoMoNyabo promotion has come out to stand with its customers as it offers them an opportunity to win money up to 5,000,000 Uganda shillings to help them rebuild their lives and businesses following the Covid19 financial disruptions.
To enter the draw, MTN customers simply have to use the MyMTN app or dial *165# and buy airtime or data, including paying for utilities and many other goods and services.
