I am not working for RTD Lt Gen Tumukunde – Western Uganda youth MP aspirant Muhondogwa
The western Uganda youth MP aspirant on National Resistance Movement (NRM) ticket,Elemia Muhondogwa has today, September 12, 2020 cleared the air on what he called propagandists claiming that he is working for presidential hopeful RTD Lt Gen Henry Tumukunde.
The young vibrant youth said that slogans can be the same but that doesn’t mean that he is working for Tumukunde and he further affirmed his commitment to the ruling party by saying that he is 100% NRM and he doesn’t have any reason(s) to work for any other ideologist because president Museveni is still a visionary leader.
Elemia’s slogan ‘It’s possible’ is believed to be the cause of these allegations as it is similar to Tumukunde’s ‘KISOBOKA’.
Elemia says it seeks to empower every young person to be part of socio economic transformation for making every good cause possible to benefit the future generations.
‘I am a pan African, and I don’t believe in those that don’t move pan Africanism forward , if we are to build Africa we need to support leaders who are after African unity , and that’s why I support President Museveni and I defend the core principles the NRM including dismissing such baseless propaganda,’ he added.
Voting is October 10,2020 with Elemia facing candidates including the Executive Director Uganda Youth and Adolescents Health Forum Patrick Mwesigye, Metropolitan International University academic registrar Simon Katuramu and others,all optimist to replace Mwine Mpaka who recently decided not to run for the youth MP seat again and crossed,won the NRM flag in Mbarara city south parliamentary primaries conducted on September 4,2020.
