Former Principal Judge Ntabgoba Send off to be Live Streamed
The burial of former Principal Judge Jeremiah Herbert Ntabgoba which is set for today, Thursday, April 16, 2020, in Kisoro District will be conducted in a strange way, ‘Digital Mourning’ as the burial ceremony will be live-streamed on social media.
The bereaved family will join in digitally mourning a legend and an icon of judicial excellence.
Ntabgoba was born in the Western District of Kisoro in 1936.
He retired as Principal Judge in 2004 after clocking the retirement age of 65 and he was replaced by Justice James Ogoola in the same capacity.
Meanwhile, President Museveni contributed Shs30 million towards the burial of the former Principal Judge and also cleared all the hospital bills and paid for the Funeral Service provider whereas the Judiciary contributed Shs5 million towards funeral expenses, plus a wreath of the Chief Justice and two fueled vehicles (a van + station wagon) which transported the immediate family to Kisoro for the burial ceremony.
