Egypt’s Ahly Volleyball Club wins bid to host 2019 Women’s African Club Championships
The African Volleyball Confederation announced on Wednensday that Egypt’s Ahly Volleyball Club will organise the 2019 Women’s African Club Championship.
Ahly Club offers better bidding than the other candidate to host according to CAVB.
Ahly beat Carthage of Tunisia to receive the prestigious competition for the second year in a row.
After studying the bidding for the 2019 Women’s African Club Championship, African Volleyball Confederation (CAVB) honoured Ahly club to host the competition in the major 2 halls of the club from 16th to 25th March 2019 in Cairo, Egypt.
Uganda will be represented by Champions Nkumba University Volleyball Club and Ndejje University Angels Volleyball Club.
The men will be represented by Nemostars and UCU Doves who will be making their debut on the continent.
The men’s torurnament will take place between March 31st and April 11th.
