DJ Khaled denies claims he was so overweight he broke a horse’s back
Rap star DJ Khaled has denied rumours that he was so large that he broke a horse’s back. The US musician, known for his music and his eccentric Snapchat posts, has hit back at the claims.
It was claimed that after DJ Khaled rode on a horse while on holiday, it had to be put down because he had injured it. Further apparently ‘fake’ stories suggested that he had offered to pay for the horse’s funeral. Khaled was in the Bahamas at the One&Only Ocean Club on Nassau, the Bahamas.
He was filmed riding around on a horse, in the sea, while declaring that he had held on to the US number one album position for a second week in a row.
Equestrian trainers were quoted by YYBZ Media as saying: ‘DJ Khaled said he weighed 200lbs, but our horse’s back determined that was a lie’. Yet, in fact, horses can actually carry almost 140kgs for several hours. Additionally members of his entourage were later photographed riding the same horse.
