Bobi Wine under siege, Muntu’s Kamwenge rally and radio talk show blocked
The National Unity Platform-NUP Presidential Candidate, Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Bobi Wine has accused security operatives for surrounding Double Dream Guest House-Kinubi Hoima where he spent the night with his team last night and journalists were also forced to vacate the place.
After last night’s siege Bobi Wine will today campaign in Buliisa, Kiryandongo and Masindi, as candidates continue soliciting for support through campaigns ahead of the 2021 General Election.
In the Forum for Democratic Change-FDC camp, Patrick Amuriat Oboi will campaign in Hoima city where he’ll also launch the FDC manifesto.
Meanwhile, the Alliance for National Transformation-ANT’s Maj. Gen.(rtd) Mugisha Muntu will campaign in Kabarole, Fort Portal, Bunyangabu.
Muntu says he’ll plan and return to Kamwenge where security blocked his rally in Biguri and his radio talk show yesterday.
11 candidates are vying for the presidency; presidential and parliamentary campaigns will close on January 12, 2021 followed by voting on January 14, 2021.
