Bishop Stuart University student sues landlady over stolen property.
Police in Kakoba is investigating a case in which a Bishop Stuart University student is accusing his landlady of breaking into his room and stealing a number of household items worth 2.5 million shillings in Nyakaizi cell Kakoba division Mbarara city.
Narcis Ayebazibwe, who is currently undergoing internship training at Hotel Boulevard-Masaka, reported to Nyakaizi police station on the evening of 10th July 2019 after he found his room empty on returning from work.
The 24 year old who is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management at BSU claims that the missing property included a 6*6 bed, mattress, Television set, woofers, shoes and his documents which he values at 2.5 Million UShs.
Our efforts to talk to the landlady, who claims that thieves broke into Narcis’s room, were futile.
Mr. Rogers Musana, the Nyakaizi police station OC confirmed that the landlady has disappeared since but the matter is under investigation.
