Bishop Stanely Ntagali calls upon Ugandans to say no to commercialization of politics come 2021.
The Arch Bishop of the church of Uganda His grace the most Rev.Bishop Stanely Ntagali has called upon Ugandans to say no to commercialization of politics as the country prepares for the general election come 2021.
This during the new years service at St. Paul’s cathedral Namirembe where congregation converged in
prayers to thank God for entering the new year 2020.
Arch Bishop Ntagali notes that leadership comes from God hence leaders can be elected on merit but
not usage of money.
Meanwhile, Ntagali is concerned that people are so anxious as they enter the new year due to the many
challenges around the world. He points out the continued wars in different countries, diseases, sectarianism, self contentedness, corruption human trafficking among others.
He has challenged believers to fight corruption as its everyone’s responsibility , he urges that this should
be preached against.
On human trafficking, Ntagali asked the public to help and talk/ counsel the youths who are yearning to
work abroad before they take on the decision as many have fallen victim of circumstances.
Ntagali has therefore appealed to believers to put God first in the new year , seek for his guidance , have
faith and repent their sins.
