Authorities blamed for clashes in Bunyangabu district
Tugume Robert the chairperson Lc1 for Nyamba B in Kabonero sub county in Bunyangabu district has faulted the district authorities from Kasese and Bunyangabu for the tribal clashes happening in the sub county.
This follows an incident that left two people dead and three others injured after a mob killed a man identified as Matayo Wulimbwa Mutsunga, a resident of Kyoho II village in Kasese district, whom they accused of stealing their cattle.
The Bunyangabu district police commander Rogers Kapere says one of the survivors told police that the attackers were group of over 21 men and each of them armed with a spear.
He adds they are still investigating the incident but they can not rule out the issue of the Kirumira Mutima organisation that has recently terrorized the area.
