Aggrieved residents asked to seek redress from RDC’s office as land row deepens in Mbarara
As rumors continue to mount over alleged allocation of district land by district leaders to themselves, aggrieved people have been advised not to take demonstration as a solution since it won’t be allowed.
This has been revealed by the Mbarara district deputy Resident district commissioner, Emmy Katera, in an interview with Croozefm.
Rumours have been mounting that some of the leaders in the district are giving themselves plots of land at Kamukuzi where the Mbarara satellite city will be built.
However, Katera says the RDC’s office has not been approached on the matter, adding that those who will seek to demonstrate as it is being rumoured will not be allowed to do so.
