West Brom have rejected another improved £25million bid from Tottenham for Saido Berahino and he says he will not play for them
The offer, which arrived late on Tuesday, was better than Spurs’ previous bid, which would have only risen to £21million with clauses and add-ons.
And Berahino took to Twitter to show his anger at the club chairman, saying: ‘Sad how i cant say exactly how the club has treated me but i can officially say i will never play Jeremy Peace.’
The Baggies instantly dismissed Tottenham’s third approach and remain determined to keep the England Under-21 striker at The Hawthorns. Spurs have been working to resurrect the deal and tabled an offer closer to West Brom’s in an attempt to finally get the deal over the line.
