Uhuru addresses Ugandan parliament
Visiting Kenyan president, Uhuru Kenyatta has advised African countries to learn from Asian nations where people have moved from poverty to prosperity “in just two generations”. While addressing the Uganda Parliament today, he suggested that to achieve this, all continental efforts ought to be united in order for the continent to arrive at prosperity for all people.
He added that the youth should be given the chance and opportunities to thrive and show the world that our youth also have what it takes.
He arrived at Parliament in the company of host Yoweri Museveni and the first ladies of the two countries, Janet Museveni and Margaret Kenyatta.
Today, Kenyatta concludes his 3-day state visit to Uganda which started on Saturday.
